The Executive Education survey confirmed that senior global leaders had advanced technical skill sets, such as Marketing and Finance, depending on the given positions and critical needs during the course of their career developments. At the senior executive level, “Leadership” and “Self-recognition,” especially in the diversified global environment, were found to be the most important areas of learning for the participants to activate or change their behaviors for better achievements (Figure 4). Coaching and 360° assessments were planned during the programs and recently much emphasis has been laid on these aspects. In the senior management programs, several schools have focused on personal and group coaching to express selfrecognition for each participant. Post-class coaching was seen in several programs and schools for the longer-lasting effects of Executive Education. Some knowledge-based learning such as strategy and critical thinking for critical decision making and advanced technology such as artificial intelligence and robotics were also applied to keep pace with the fast-changing society.

Length and program structure

Because of the characteristics of participants, who are busy professionals, comprehensive Executive Education programs for senior executives were rather shorter, with an average of 4.2 weeks. The shorter programs, such as “Innovation leadership” and “finance for senior executives” were also held. There were two types of program structures: “Intensive” (one-time participation) and “Modules” (2–4 times participation). Although “Intensive type of programs were more popular, demands of Module type are gradually increasing in the past 3 years (53%). Business schools were asked to specify which type of program structures would be beneficial to participants, but discussion always included advantages and disadvantages. The recommendation of the program types would vary depending on the type of participants. If the participant is not familiar with English nor comes from a global and diversified environment, Intensive type would be more appropriate to accumulate the learnings without having breaks in a program. However, Module type appears more beneficial for shorter-term participation per module, and to have activation and reflection time between modules to deepen their learnings.

Although open-enrollment programs were open to wider participants, high tuition fees might be the most severe barrier for an organization to send their employees to Executive Education. In 2018, the average tuition fee for 30 programs per week was US$11,570, and the highest admission fee per program was US$82,000 for a 7-week program, which was unaffordable for individual participants as well as for senior executives. With regard to post-program feedback, no school had provided any official feedback to their sponsors such as corporations and the other organizations.

The number of Executive Education program participants increased by nearly 10% in 2018 as compared to that in 2017, and its demand is gradually increasing [1]. It is a common perception that the VUCA era in which the world environment changes rapidly, a new way of management of organizations is expected for the future. This study presented three main evidences for the importance of Executive Education. First, it is creating the same level of diverse environment. It provides a common place for discussing the problem of management among global cultural diversity groups having had a social experience not just diversity. Creating diversity was not limited to grouping participants, but the diversity of faculties was also ensured, and the efforts the business school is noteworthy. In particular, those organizations placed in an environment where high-context communication is standardized in a homogenized culture, such as in Japan, should consciously invest in Executive Education programs.

PRIMARY SCHOOLS USING MUCH MORE OF THEIR BUDGETS - Best School Kumbakonam

PRIMARY SCHOOLS USING MUCH MORE OF THEIR BUDGETs - Best SChool Kumbakonam Best matriculation girls schools in Kumbakonam Primary schools are using their budgets much more. Last year the school boards had 5.9 million euros of their budgets left over at the end of the year. In 2017 it was just over 106 million euros, Trouw reports based on figures from education executive agency DUO. Schools' tendency to not use their complete budget led to criticism last year. Ministers Ingrid van Engelshoven of Education, Culture and Science and Arie Slob for Primary- and Secondary Education called the left-over amount remarkable, given the fact that the education sector was demanding extra money to lower teachers' workloads. "Saving must not become a goal in itself", the Ministers wrote in a letter to parliament. "After all, it involves money intended for education." The Education Inspectorate wrote a report stating that school boards are far too conser...
